Robin Bartle and David Read have written articles published by the American Intellectual Property Law association (AIPLA) on recent developments at the European Patent Office (EPO) relating to two matters being dealt with by the Enlarged Board of Appeal: one relating to disclaimers and the other concerning priority claims.
AIPLA is a US national bar association constituted primarily of lawyers in private and corporate practice, in government service, and in the academic community, with nearly 14,000 members. AIPLA represents a wide and diverse spectrum of individuals from law firms, companies, and institutions involved directly or indirectly in the practice of patent, trademark, copyright, and unfair competition law, as well as other fields of law affecting intellectual property.
