Finland became the ninth country to ratify the UPC Agreement on 8th of January 2016.

The Agreement will enter into force after thirteen Member States have confirmed participation (estimated to take place in January 2017). Only four more signatures are still needed, two of which must be the UK and Germany.

The schedule for obtaining these missing signatures is still unclear and speculation surrounding Brexit muddies the water further still.
